In this NASA patent example, expiration date was classified as individual year.

range-value is always on top of unique-value, always in this order:

                          range-value [~ total count ~]

                           unique-value {~ total count ~}

                      

For example:  

                     click patent_expiration_date  on most left panel, you will see in middle panel, 

                    2033-03-11T00:00:00.000 {~6~}  means, unique-value, that specific date time 3/11/2033, have total 6 item

                    2021 [~41~] means, year range, from 1/1/2021 to 12/31/2021, have total 41 item

                      [~350~] and   {~350~}   both means, 350 item,  have empty expiration date,
