fields mapping workflow took me a few hours. next time import data, I don't want to spend a few hours again to map all 30+ fields.
There are 2 options to save your fields mapping workflow for future repeatedly use.
option 1, click analysis tab, then click history button, to show last time all geoprocessing tool you used, including append tool. Open it, it will keep the whatever field mapping you did last time. So you don't have to spend a few hours again.
option 2, you can also export field mapping to a fieldMap single file. Share it with other user. Or if your arcgis pro suddently broken, suddently not be able to open, you can create a new arcpro project then open append tool, then import this fieldMap file, so you don't have to spend a few hours again.
2.1 export fieldmap to a single file
2.2 save fieldmap file.
2.3 in a new arcpro, open append tool, click edit button, click load button, to import fieldmap file.
