Step 1.

POI collected from different source, apple, google, Microsoft, ...

In a different year......

In the future years, will be same pattern,

different source with different year.

Regard less of source and year,

Raw POI have more or less bad eggs,

Step 2.

Step 3.

Step 4.

If I manually delete these "bad eggs" now,

Over time, some new POI needed, Some POI no longer exist.

When I get another raw POI from another time or another source,

These "bad eggs" will for sure come back again.

Go over 2000 police, jail, courthouse in soCal, manually pick bad egg is not sustainable method

Step 5.

To make it sustainable,

One method is I keep these "bad eggs" as list, next time, I will let computer to automatically look up bad eggs list, quickly remove them.

Step 6.

method two is I do not have bad egg list, but I develope a rule to identify who is bad eggs, then let computer automatically implement this rule.

Step 7.

Or use both method at same time, combined.

Automate the POI clean process is a sustainable way.

Then next question comes up, to use ArcGIS pro for automated clean process?

Or build your own apps to clean up ?

Or combined some steps do it in Arcgis pro, some steps do it outside of ArcPro ?

Step 8.

Step 9.

Step 10.

Step 11.

Step 12.

Step 13.

Step 14.

Step 15.

Step 16.

Step 17.

Step 18.
