Step 1.
upload 3 old address,
Step 2.
upload again with 3 old address plus 3 new address.
With arcgis pro tool, you will get 3 + 6 = 9 address.
But this refinery tool detect 3 address are duplicate, you will get 6 address in total.

Step 4.
Refinery tool can merge or combine 2 address file.
When you get a new address file ( with some existing address, some new address),
Use this tool to merge with existing address file.
Existing old address will be ignored, new address will be captured.
In this way, you can alway get your address up to date by merge existing address file with new received address file.
