esri cloud arcgis online does not allow you customize geocoder,
You can not upload your DIY customized geocoder to arcgis online.
Arcgis online provide you only one default geocoder, named World geocoder.
Step 2.
DIY geocoder, tyler requires to search by parcel number.
esri's default world geocoder is not possible search by parcel number.
composite geocoder means you combine a regular address geocoder, with another parcel number geocoder.
DIY composite geocoder can only upload to arcgis server ( self hosted )
can NOT upload to esri hosted arcgis online.
Step 3.
if tyler need search by parcel number, you have to load it on arcgis server instead of arcgis online.
