public facing Arcgis server ( tyler )

tyler require a public facing arcgis server,

that means, your arcgis server should have domain name

where is sample,

looking for pink-color entry

need create a sub domain as :

gis.YOUR-DOMAIN.gov

this can be done by adding a cname record,

let it point to your arcgis server's installing machine IP address ( without port number ).

a cname record does not allow you specify port number.

Arcgis server's web adaptor will handle request.
