ArcPro locator defect 3 letter cross street name not working ( 911 POI )
If you want 3 letter cross street working, the path of make ESRI change pro locator is not works.
But a alternative way of change the source input data field is a possible path.

if you read each sentence, make sense. If you put all sentence together, not make sense. It is a collection of sentence from multiple article, multiple source website. Sentences does not have logic between.

human brain can be inspired by something they saw, they feel, they understand.
Day 1, something happened, human brain can be inspired by this thing to reach solution 1.
Day 2, saw some youtube video about nature, about animal, could be anything, then inspired different solution 2.
Day 3, went to travel, inspired to solution 3.
Day 4, went to car repair shop, talk to someone, inspired to solution 4.
Day 5, anything could happen, human brain is slow but can endlessly create endless solution.
Google Ai is fast, but is not going to be inspired by car repair shop, not by travel, not by animal, nature youtube video,
But human brain can inspired by any unrelated things easily.
Because you can not change the way pro locator works, so change the source data input field is a work around alternative.

Let's create a new field just for 3 letter street name (StreetName3)

populate new field with only first 3 letter of original street name

must define cross street connector, otherwise, search cross street will not work

3 letter for 1st street name works, but does not show full street name on result, need further improvement,
3 letter "gag" for full street name "gage"
2 letter "st" for full street name "state"

full street name (3 letter) the whole thing as street name, 3 letter abbreviation only helps to find cross street by 3 letter, when user see popup, full street name still shows. Here is how

This is my work around. Alternatively, ArcPro should fix it in future release. We as user do not have access to ArcPro source code, ESRI should fix this in ArcPro source code.
This is before fix, by ArcPro default, if you type same 3 letter cross street name, it failed to popup correct one.

This work around is create by human brain as 10 byte per seconds, takes a while to understand the mechanisium of how ArcPro locator works. After understand how it works, create a non-exist-before work around. Google AI does not unstand the mechanisium of how it works, only search past experience, can't create a non-exist-before solution.
First street name at least be 3 letter, second street name can even abbreviation as 2 letter, see here

3 letter/2 letter sample, this greatly reduce 911 dispatcher daily work load, they originally need type full street name for 1st cross street, now 3/2 = 5 letter get it done. They will repeat this hundreds of times daily.

another problem I see, is 3 letter is too close to full street name, maybe add 1 space between looks better
